Pretty good place for beginners and for people looking for a fun day near Toronto. A bit expensive, but that is too be expected. Lines are not long, and staff is helpful. Getting Rentals can be a pain as lines are always to long there. Bring your own gear and jump on the slope, right from your car ( assuming you have a driver to drop you off. )

Glen Eden is a fantastic spot for beginner skiers like me, gentle novice runs and solid lesson programs make it perfect for building confidence. Weekends are packed all day, and after 4pm on weekdays, lift lines hit 20-60+ minutes on the main chairs—sometimes equal time skiing vs. waiting, especially with parking sellouts or lift hiccups.

Glen Eden Ski Resort is a great spot, especially for beginners. The slopes are very beginner-friendly, but they also have some terrain options if you want to try a bit more variety. The staff are incredibly nice and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Rentals and lift tickets are very budget-friendly compared to other resorts, and it never feels overly crowded. Overall, it’s a relaxed, affordable place to ski and learn without the stress.

Been two years since ive been here to ski and came out after our big snowstorm. Its honestly a great mountain to keep you warmed up and have some fun with your friends or by yourself if you just want to get some time in the mountain. Mornings is always so nice and quiet, would definitely recommend for skiing any skill level but definitely for any beginner.

Great place to ski and snowboard. Weekends get little crowded, but evenings are good to get on chair lifts as soon as you are there; very less to no wait time. Had a great experience snowboarding here.

Went to Glen Eden for skiing as a first-timer and it was a great place to learn. The beginner areas felt manageable and not too intimidating, which helped build confidence. The rental process was fast and well-organized, so we were able to get started quickly. Staff were helpful, and the overall vibe was very friendly for people just starting out. A fun experience and a good hill to try if you’re new to skiing!

Glen is a wicked place for anyone! The runs aren't the longest, but the layout is fun! Great for beginners, fun bunny hills to go down, "was great for my kid" and close to home! I went around 6:30pm and it was not busy at all! Wish I made it out when we had all that fresh snow! Next year

Ferg was an awesome instructor! We went without having ever snowboarded before, and ended up snowboarding for hours after our class. This is a perfect spot for beginners. It was an awesome place, and it was easy to rent everything we needed.
